Byrnestown Siding is located 102.400 kilometres from Mungar Junction and is 119 metres above sea level.

Byrnestown Siding had a siding and telephone connection with Maryborough and Mungar Junction. Byrnestown was referred to as a “Gate” with a Station Mistress appointed to oversee the day to day station operations.

A station building, railway house and cream sheds were utilised at Byrnestown with cattle, pigs and sheep yards available for transporting of livestock by rail.

Byrnestown was a designated railmotor stop for the Maryborough to Monto and return Railmotor service.
